About the book
During a cultural exchange in Seattle, nineteen-year-old Brazilian Lívia Nogueira meets Kang Min-jun, a twenty-two-year-old South Korean. Between switched badges, spilled coffee and increasingly unlikely coincidences, an attraction grows that both try to treat as temporary.
Their relationship crosses three countries and changes balance in each one. In South Korea, Lívia enters Min-jun’s demanding family world but begins to feel hidden inside his life. In Cuiabá, it is his turn to face the heat, rapid Portuguese and the vulnerability of being a foreigner.
With humor, tenderness and sensitive culture clashes, this romantic comedy follows two people learning that love is not about translating each other perfectly, but choosing, clearly and mutually, to keep sharing the road.
